The Durant Foundation is seeking donations to help build a brick and mortar museum honoring William ‘Billy’ C. Durant and the cars associated with him. Plans are underway to construct a 10,000 square foot building on the grounds and in partnership with the Gilmore Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan.

The museum will provide the history and accomplishments of the automotive life of William ‘Billy’ C. Durant and display vehicles and artifacts of Durant and the many automobiles associated with his years from the Durant Dort Carriage works, early General Motors, and the years of Durant Motors, Inc. The museum will allow future generations to lean and understand the man that so much to do with the early days of American motoring.
